The first
safari for me on day 1 went really well!!
With keen
Swiss clients and suitable weather conditions we entered through Phabeni gate
and saw general game like it was coming out of fashion!
After a break
at Skukuza camp we came across the days highlight which was 2 Lion sightings
not very far from each other and very close to the road!
The first
being 4 very strong Lioness with a young large male and the second being 4
males sleeping close to the road!
In the
afternoon we spotted a magnificent pairing of 2 Sable Bulls, A large herd of
Buffalo and 1 rather crazy Elephant bull!

Today we set
off in pitch darkness Nina and Luko were rewarded with some unique sightings of
all the big 5.
However for
them the highlight of their day was the 3 Cheetah brothers that they
encountered on their sunset safari!
The 3 males
were spotted on the road performing to their best ability!!!!
Brad and Sarah
joined me for a short afternoon drive from 16 -30 to 18-15 and luck came their
way fast spotting W.Rhino, Buffalo, Elephant, Impala and Waterbuck but their
highlight was a female Leopard snoozing on some warm rocks close by!!!
10 January 2016
Today was
rather wet and drizzly which had an effect on sightings although when one puts
it all down we had phenomenal locations of Elephant, W rhino , Buffalo and
general game!
Our 2 top
sightings ended up tied as the best of the day ... That being 1) A Hyena clan
on the hunt nice and close to the road and 2) A herd of 25 Sable Antelope also
close to the road!
