With a rapid
drop in temperature we indulged in some magnificent sightings which for Brad, Sarah
and Catherine were really hard to chose a highlight!!
In amongst
seeing the big 5 ( again! ) their choice was a rather unusual
sighting!!!
Whilst
observing a great Lion pride and cubs down below us resting in the river bed we
spotted 2 huge Hippos leaving their small pool of water and sprinting up the banks
in a flurry! Turns out a large White Rhino had come down to drink and scared
them off!
This would all
have been in reverse if it was dark!!!
Our new group
is on a good wicket with 5/5 and Spotted Hyena ticked off!!!
This
afternoons drive is going to be epic!
