4 Day Live On the Wildside Tented Safari

As you make your way from Johannesburg to the iconic Kruger National Park, you begin the first of four glorious days of sights and smells of the African bushveld. In this 4 day/3 night package costs are slashed, but the experience remains priceless.

You will enjoy no less than 6 magnificent guided day safaris with your experienced Safari Guide in an open safari vehicle.Breakfasts and sumptuous suppers are all part of the package. Every morning and late afternoon it’s time to head out on the game drive to seek Africa’s prized ‘Big 5’ – Lion, Leopard, Elephant, Rhino and Buffalo. Learn of this world renowned Park’s contribution to the preservation of its precious wildlife and of its smaller reptile and insect life, its flora and incredible birdlife. Between game drives relax, swim in sparkling pools, catch a tan, read your book or enjoy a siesta. Bring your binoculars to enjoy a little bird watching and sometimes you may experience a visit from a larger wild game camp visitor too! Evenings are spent building camaraderie with fellow game spotters and reminiscing on the day’s thrilling sightings!


All inclusive are comfortable quaint Tented accommodations with pristine shared ablutions, conservation fees, all breakfasts and dinners, open safari vehicle day drives and transfers to and from Johannesburg, or Kruger Mpumalanga Airport.

Itinerary

Day 1 - Johannesburg - Kruger Park

We make our way on to the Kruger National and make our way to the camp for lunch and check in accommodation consists of Safari tents with twin beds linen bath towels and soap, Communal ablution facilities are used on these safaris, which consist of showers, toilets and baths separate for Men and Women. Depart for your first game drive at 15h00pm. Late afternoons make for perfect game viewing where you are able to spot various antelope and larger members of the Big 5 including Buffalo and Elephant. Dinner is prepared by the camps restaurant and your guide shall give you the time to meet.

Day 2 - Kruger National Park

The day starts early in the Kruger National Park with gates opening early depending on the time of the year. It is always good to be out and about as early as possible in order to still find the cats on the prowl before the heat of the day. Breakfast is had at either your camp where you are staying or at one of the many picnic areas found in the park.

After breakfast, we continue our game viewing, stopping off at water holes, following river lines, making our way back to camp during the heat of the day in summer which is October to April allowing you to relax, swim, read your book or enjoy a siesta. In winter we are able to stay out a bit longer May to September.

We depart once again three hours before sunset for our afternoon safari, returning to camp before gate closing time. Dinner is a barbeque affair (Braai) prepared by your guide. Should you wish to help with the preparation you are more than welcome to do so.

Day 3 - Kruger National Park

This morning once again you will be departing early from camp for your game drive, watching the sunrise over the African plains in search of the Big 5. Breakfast can be enjoyed at one of the camps or picnic areas before we return to camp mid-day for a siesta or time to relax at the swimming pool. Departure for a Sunset /Night drive with Sanparks Rangers at 16h30/17h00pm returning by 19h00/19h30pm for Dinner in the Restaurant.

Day 4 - Kruger Park - Johannesburg

The last morning's open game viewing drive departs at gate opening time, enjoying breakfast in the outdoors, before departing at 10h00am and making our way slowly out of the park returning you to your shuttle which departs between 11h00 and 13h00pm and gets you back to Johannesbur either by16h00pm or 18h00pm.

Dress Code

Bring comfortable shoes or sandals, Cool Clothing in Summer ( Shorts and T Shirts) Long Pants and Jacket in Winter, Swimsuit (All camps have swimming pools), Malaria Medication and anti Mosquito Sprays, Personal Medications, Sunglasses, Hat and Sunscreen, Flashlight, Binoculars, Camera and spare memory Cards, Travel Adapter Plug.
