So today we
set out with an incredibly excited American group of 10 with an age group
ranging from 7 to 77!!
Special
locations including superb Elephant herds with tiny calves, Buffalo herds
ranging from 5 to 100! Numerous W.Rhino sightings with a solid total of 9 for
the day for this much discussed Mammal. A highly active Spotted Hyena den with
pups so small they hardly could balance to some just gradually developing their
spots to 6 fully developed adults who were extremely vocal!!!!
Vast amounts
of Kudu, Zebra, Giraffe, Bushbuck, Warthog, Impala ,Waterbuck, Hippo and
Wildebeest were also sighted!!!
The bird
kingdom was out in abundance with the highlight here being 3 Southern ground
Hornbills walking next to us fully vocalizing for 500 meters!!
However as a
group we decided that the Black Rhino bull sighting in the late afternoon was
today's and the trips highlight!!!
Not impressed
that we had spotted him in some thick bush, he gradually approached us with a aggressive
stance and continuous scent marking !!
At one stage
this critically endangered African mammal was 50 meters from us for brilliant
photographic opportunities!!!
We left the
Park with a passionate and happy group who now realize they need more time in this incredible Park🐯!!!
Safe travels to
Matt and his crew back to the state of Texas USA!!!
