On Safari With Mark 19 April 2015

19 April 2015
As Matt and Ali were on a sundown safari yesterday afternoon spotting: Impala, zebra and a distant elephant, we set out with a purpose of spotting as many animals as possible In the time left for this quick 2 night.
Our first highlight was definitely the 4 females that caught an impala at shitlhave dam. Great visuals and photos taken of these big cats devouring their pray in such a short period (+-15min).
Our second highlight had to be the majestic white rhino that walked next to our car (+-2m) just grazing on the shoulder of the tar. Once again this was a special moment for the guests as they enjoyed watching this big fellow go about his daily task of feeding.
Other animals include, Impala, kudu, common duiker, steenbok, warthog, spotted hyena, waterbuck, zebra, giraffe, elephant, buffalo, crocodiles, hippos, dwarf /banded mongoose and numerous birds throughout the day.
Over all this has been a great day with great sightings for the two guests.
