The final
morning of the tour and again the highlight of the drive was a cheetah
sighting.
Possibly the
same cheetah as we had seen a couple of days ago it was taking cover in a nice
shady area. Visual wasn't great to start with but we found a small window
where, with binoculars, we could see it clearly.
We were hoping
it would start to get mobile but no luck although we got lots of tail flicks
and a few times it would roll around taking a good interest in everything
around it.
Also seen this
morning Impala, common duiker, steenbok, kudu, waterbuck, buffalo, elephant,
zebra, giraffe, warthog, hippo, klipspringer and one final new species for this
tour in the shape of common reedbuck.
Birds included
a juvenile bataleur, African fish eagle, reed cormorants and black collared
barbet
Great having
Jennifer and Robin on tour, really great to meet you and sharing some amazing
sightings with you. Safe travels guys!!
