On safari With Karen 1 June 2015

1 June  2015

Selina and Rohan joined us today on a safari and we went from Nelspruit to Nkambeni Safari Camp. We checked in a bit later than normal by no fault of our own as on camp road we already encountered kudus, waterbucks, impalas, giraffes, a kudu bull and elephants!

After a quick check-in the guests went straight back out on their sundowner drive.

Most animals were still hanging around on camp road. The two giraffes we saw had even found a new friend and were now three. After their sunset with some lovely drinks, they continued their drive with a spotlight. Here they additionally spotted a hyena up close, scrub hares, the eyes of a possible genet, multiple buffalos and a group of 6 elephants hanging around in the middle of the road made them return to the lodge later than anticipated. It was a very good start of the safari!
