I picked up my
great guests at Phalaborwa airport and we headed for Phalaborwa gate in a
temperature more aligned to swimming pools as opposed to safaris at 43 degrees!!
Our drive to
Mopani camp was rather active despite the heat with brilliant 5/5 visuals of
large Elephant bulls feeding in a drainage lines close to the road as well as 3
family herds with excellent visual!!
We came across
Buffalo, Impala, Kudu, zebra as well as 2 juvenile Crocodiles who scuttled into
a very empty Letaba river as a charging Waterbuck approached them!
