On our last day
we had great sightings of Kudu, Waterbuck, Zebra, Giraffe, Bateleurs,
Crocodile, Hippo, Reedbuck, Vervets, Steenboks, Dunkerque, Buffalo and a superb
visual of a female Leopard crossing the road and then following her for 2 km!
However the
best sighting came in the former of a small Elephant calf which we picked up with
its parents who were slowly devouring a fallen Macula tree!
The calf
started to sulk as he really wasn't interested in his folks choice of food!
He then after
much sulking decided to just lay down and sleep next to our vehicle! We could
hear him snoring out loud! It was hilariously cute!!!!
We wish Ceri and
Jenna safe journey and are delighted that Kruger is the cherry on top of a 9
month round the world trip!!!
