Collection from MQP or KMIA

If you’re flying into Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport, your game ranger will pick you up off your midday flight for your Kruger Park wilderness safari. Then there’s a leisurely 40 minute drive up to the Kruger National Park, where we enter the park by the Numbi Gate, in the south.

Day 1: Johannesburg - Kruger Park - Skukuza Camp (D)

On entering the Kruger Park through the Numbi Gate we make our way on towards the camp of Pretoriuskop for a lunch break before departing on our first game drive of your Kruger Park wilderness safari, where we have the opportunity of spotting rhino, elephant and other species of antelope doing what they do best, eating.  We make our way to our Kruger camp for the evening, arriving just before gate closing time.
After checking in you’ll get a chance to freshen up in your chalet before joining others for dinner at the camp’s restaurant. Your guide will let you know what time to meet him outside the restaurant.

Day 2: Kruger Park - Skukuza Camp (B D)

The second day of your 6 day wilderness safari begins at the crack of dawn in order to have a greater chance of seeing the big game, we depart from the camp and get on the road when the gates open.  We’ll stop at one of the picnic areas en-route to our next camp for breakfast hoping to spot our elusive leopard or possibly finding a pride of lions on the prowl. After breakfast we continue on our open vehicle game drive looking out for any birds of interest or antelope along the way. You’ll see plenty of zebra and wildebeest grazing on the open grass plains, tall elegant giraffes, their heads among the branch tops of the acacia trees, and a family of elephants crossing the road ahead of you. You’ll see plenty of birds too – there are more than 500 species present in the Kruger National Park during our summer months.

We’ll get back to camp at about 16h00 to give you a chance to have some refreshments and to stock up with drinks for your night game drive, which leaves the camp at 17h00. A National Parks ranger will be in charge of the three-hour night drive in an open sided truck.  You get back to camp in time for a scrumptious dinner, which you can enjoy while listening to the sounds synonymous with a Kruger Park wilderness safari.

Day 3 & 4: Kruger Park - Satara Camp (B D)

Today we’ll slowly make our way up to next camp, arriving for check in after 14h00 allowing you time to check in and have a break from the vehicle before departing late afternoon on another game drive before dusk and the camps gates close, or if you prefer relaxing in the camp for the rest of the afternoon you may do so enjoying listening to the birds singing in the trees or just taking a nap. Dinner is in the restaurant at 19h00 where your guide will discuss the events for the next day of your 6 day wilderness safari.

Day 5: Kruger Park - Pretoriuskop Camp (B D)

After a good nights rest, we depart early once again for an early morning game drive, returning to camp for breakfast, before making our way slowly back to the southern edge of the park to our last camp for the evening.  Check in will be late afternoon and dinner at 19h00 in the restaurant.  This is a time to reminiss with friends over your Kruger Park wilderness safari experiences.

Day 6: Kruger Park - Johannesburg (B)

It’s time this morning for your last game drive, hoping to spot as many species of antelope, and cats before breakfast.  Enjoy your last mornings breakfast and drive in the Kruger Park before departing by 09h30 and slowly making our way back to Nelspruit to change over to your transfer vehicle back to Johannesburg arriving late afternoon, concluding your Kruger Park wilderness safari.
