On Safari With Karen 12 November 2015

12 November 2015

Our last morning was a quiet morning. Seemed like we used up all our luck yesterday.

However we did get some new animals for our checklist. Our first new animal was a tree squirrel. And I have never seen anyone this enthusiastic about a tree squirrel as my current guests! He was hopping along the tree quite nicely, but fanatic as they are to complete the checklist, every new animal counts.

We also could add a steenbok to the checklist, a hawk eagle, klipspringer, and we had nice sightings of wild dogs, 7 adult hyenas, 2 young pups and a curious youngster, zebras, white rhinos, elephant bulls, buffalo bulls, waterbucks, impalas jumping and kudus.

Then it was time to say goodbye to Adam, Malia and Barry, who would be on their way to the airport. Their journey would continue, but the bug mystery was where to... I think the final decision would be made at the airport! Have fun guys, wherever you are ending up :-). It was great having you on safari with us!!
