Itinerary

Day 1 - Johannesburg - Kruger Park

From the Kruger Park gate your Kruger safari takes you northwards towards camp, viewing plenty of game as we drive. Many animals move towards water in the hot afternoon sun, and you’ll see herds of impala and waterbuck on the banks of the waterholes. We continue our open vehicle game drive to our camp for the evening, checking in before gate closing time and allowing you to settle into your chalet for the evening.

Day 2 - Kruger Park (B-D)

Time to pack our vehicle as we depart from camp and start moving up to the central regions of the Kruger Park. We drive up along the Sabi River hoping to spot a leopard or two coming from the river after a drink, or possibly lions, or other big cats, making their way down to have a drink. Herds of impala can also be spotted along the road or down on the banks of the river. We continue our game drive stopping off for breakfast along the way at one of the picnic areas.

After breakfast we continue our 7 day Kruger safari with a game drive, spotting herds of elephant, zebra and wildebeest, as well as some of our 500 species of birds found in that area. We will stop at camp for lunch before continuing our journey north to our Kruger camp for the evening. We arrive late afternoon for check in and allowing you time to explore the camp and relax before dinner is served in the restaurant.

Day 3 - Kruger Park (B-D)

Another early morning start before sunrise allowing you time to take some stunning pictures of the sun rising over the African landscape on your 7 day Kruger safari. We make our way out into the park, hoping to still find our cats on the prowl or enjoying a hearty meal after their nights kill. Breakfast can be enjoyed at one of the camps before we return mid-day to our camp for the afternoon. This evening you may enjoy a night drive conducted by National Parks rangers.

Day 4 - Kruger Park (B-D)

On the fourth morning of your Kruger Park Kruger safari, we make our way back to the central regions of the Kruger Park where we will overnight after our mornings game drive, lunch and then arriving at our camp of choice for check in. Enjoy a swim or a siesta before we depart from camp three hours before gate closing for an afternoon game drive, stopping off at waterholes hoping to come across our rhino taking a mud bath or a herd of elephants enjoying a swim , or our buffalo wallowing along the edges of the waterhole. We return to camp for a shower and dinner. After dinner your guide will discuss the next days activities as we head on back to the game enriched southern section of the Kruger National Park.

Day 5 - Kruger Park (B-D)

We bid our camp farewell this morning at the break of dawn and slowly continuing on our 7 day Kruger safari, with a game drive to our next camp arriving late afternoon. On completion of check in we will meet for dinner and then discuss plans for the following day.

Day 6 - Kruger Park (B-D)
