We decided to
head out early this morning and leave as the gates opened.
Great
sightings during the morning drive with one of the highlights been a herd (30)
of elephant right next to a herd (200) of buffalo and 200m away a crash (6) of
rhino. 3 large groups of 3 specie of the "big 5".
On our
afternoon drive out highlight was a leopardess that caught and was eating a
southern ground hornbill. This was awesome sighting with her approximately 3 m
from the car.
Other animals
spotted: Impala, Nyala, bushbuck, kudu, waterbuck, warthog, giraffe,
zebra, common duiker, steenbok, monkeys, baboons, crocodile, hippos and lions
Tomorrow guests
are on bush-walk and then we head towards Nelspruit.
