Today we headed
for Letaba and along the Olifants river we came across well over 20 pods of
Hippo which were interesting to observe!
1 Elephant was
seen way in the distance and this became our only Ele sighting of the day! It
really makes one wonder if the Elephant population count is accurate or not ?
2 Buffalo were
also seen! Our highlight for the day was 2 Saddle-billed Storks fishing in a
depleted pond close to us! They literally hauled out 10 fish between them!
A leopard was
seen but disturbed by noisy visitors!
A very quiet but
scenic day!
